Aluminum foil is supplied in soft, semi-hard, and hard tempers for flexible packaging, household foil, insulation, heat-transfer, cable, and industrial laminate programs. End use determines alloy, temper, gauge tolerance, pinhole and surface acceptance, wettability or cleanliness, width, roll OD, core ID, and winding quality. Food, pharmaceutical, and converter requirements must be written into the PO. For a controlled quotation, state the alloy and temper, governing ASTM, EN, or GB standard, product form, thickness or section dimensions, tolerances, surface condition, processing, quantity, packing, and destination port.
